July was a fun month because of this awesome wedding! I first met Betty in February and we instantly clicked! We quickly got to work to plan their special day with 700 of their family and friends! This was the largest wedding Event Elements has done to date and I think we conquered it! I had a fantastic team that made it all possible! We all thoroughly enjoyed being a part of these families’ special day!
Anoop and Betty, thank you for trusting me to help y’all and I pray God’s richest blessings for your marriage!

So I have a confession… although I see tons of invitations all the time, I still *love* when one is in my mailbox! : ) This particular one was no exception, but was even more special! Not only is this one of my awesome clients, but the bride is my aunt! I’m so excited and honored to be helping them with their big day!
Both H & W are graphic designers for a marketing agency so needless to say we have all been anxious to see what their invites would look like… they did not disappoint!! I knew they would be amazing because my aunt did my wedding invites four years ago : )
If you would like info on custom invitations for your own wedding, please send me an e-mail and I will get in you in touch with Heidi!

I had the great privledge of working closely with Melissa for over a year as she worked hard on planning this rockin’ wedding! Often times our planning conversations or e-mails drifted to Mavericks talk but I think we pulled of an amazingly fun wedding at the always awesome Hickory Street Annex! A big thank you to an awesome group of vendors: Michelle at Hickory Street Annex, DJ Lamont, Hunter with Ben & Jerry’s, Kristen with CN Catering, Kristen with 4Flashes Photobooths, & Kristen with Haute Floral. (Yes, you read that right… there were a total of FOUR Kristens on this wedding! And THAT was another reason it was awesome!)
Melissa said yesterday in an e-mail how not talking with me for a few weeks was kind of odd and that it seems strange to “go cold turkey!” LOL Awwww… that made me smile! And yes, I feel the same way! Congrats to Shane and Melissa and may you enjoy lots and lots of wedded bliss!!!
Check out some shots my wonderful assistant Michelle captured : )
Okay! This bouquet was FABULOUS!!! Melissa collected all of these brooches for a year! It was SO heavy! (And no, she didn’t use it for her toss bouquet! HA!)
Adorable shot as they recess out… MARRIED! I love the look on Melissa’s face and Shane’s big smile!

Let me introduce you to Jana and Chase! How adorable are these two?! Such a pretty couple and equally as sweet! It a blast working with them and their precious families! We had an awesome time at this wedding and loved working with such rock star vendors! Thank you for letting me be a part of your family’s special day!!

This wedding was one I was super excited about for many reasons!! 1 – awesome couple 2 – FAB venue 3- great vendors 4 – the color combo of: “pumpkin & wasabi” ; ) I think all of the above came together beautifully and made for a super fun time! Congrats Andrew & Jordan! It was an honor to be a part of your special day!!

p.s. – it was also fun/weird to see a picture of myself at the hotel in their advertisement! Remember this photo shoot of yours truly a while back?!?
Have I mentioned lately how much I *love* working our friends at Nine Photography?!? I was so excited to see these photos from Jordan and Jackie’s 3-19-11 weddings! Take a look!
{p.s. – I also love first look shots for my clients!}
It’s always fun to work at “repeat venues”… this gives us a chance to get to know the crew and team and learn what works and doesn’t. One of our favorite repeat venues is the gorgeous La Cima Club in Las Colinas on the 26th floor overlooking Dallas and Fort Worth! This is where Jordan and Jackie’s magical day took place! What a fun group of family and friends!! We also got the chance to work with our friends at Nine Photography yet again!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. J!!! It was an honor to be a part of your special day and we wish you many, many blessings!!!! : )
Here are a few shots from throughout the day:

Today my amazing hubby and I are celebrating FOUR fabulous years of marriage!!!! I am so very blessed and honored to be his wife and am am grateful daily that God wrote our love story! {ask me about it sometime… it’s really sweet!} Here are a few (of the thousands) of our wedding pics from our magical day March 11, 2007! Enjoy!
Pre-ceremony giggles with my dad and brother before walking down the aisle!
Yay! We did it!
One of our favorite shots!
Side note: The wedding planner in me has to mention this… we spared no expense on our wedding photography and still to this day do not regret that one bit! In fact, people are still talking about how amazing our photographer was/is. Brides: Pleeeeeeease do not take photography lightly! You cannot redo these precious memories and it goes by WAY too quick. You must have every second of your special day documented!!! *End of soap box*
With that being said… our fantastic photographer is the great Joseph Mark Photography! No seriously, check them out: http://josephmark.com You can thank me later 😉
10.10.10 was an extra special day for our team! We had the honor of being a part of another awesome couple’s big day but these two had an even more awesome story! Kelli is a recent Breast Cancer Survivor and her fiance, Larry proposed to her on live TV! Their sweet proposal was featured on Fox 4 News after she participated in the 2009 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. An amazing team of industry pros donated their time and services for this special day. A huge thank you to: Mike and ReJana with Bludoor Studios, Kerri and Becca with A Stylish Soiree, Seth Hoisington with Dallas Rhythms, Vetty with Perfect in Beauty Makeup, Butch and Ruthie with Delicious Cakes, The Hilton Bella Harbour and BBJ Linens. So awesome to have people come together for a great cause!
